Contract Arrives

Forgot to mention this. I received the contract for Eat What You Want and Die Like a Man: the World's Unhealthiest Cookbook from my publisher today. Is that exciting, or what?

It was fantastic getting the contract for the Nigerian book, but this is better, even though it's not my first book deal. This is the project I dreamed about for years. It may be a little less funny than the Nigerians, but my heart is in it, and I worked much harder for it. Writing the Nigerian book was effortless. The cookbook required a hundred trips to the store. Dozens of trips to ManCamp. Hours and hours of Googling. Days of kitchen time.

What a blast this is going to be. It's going to be so much better than the POD version so many of you were nice enough to buy. And if it sells, I'll get to do a sequel with Mike and maybe a ManCamp book with Val. After that, who knows? I would even be willing to do TV for this series of books. Especially if I could get Mike to leave New Hampshire to help me out.

Go make yourself a pizza and celebrate with me. I hate to gluttonize and gloat alone.
