This is Your Day

I guess if you read blogs, you know that Cathy Seipp is dead, and that a reeking bag of refuse named Eliot Stein observed her passing by posting vicious garbage on a website located at cathyseipp.com. The site belongs to Stein, and Cathy had nothing to do with it.

In a vile post over Cathy's name, while she was on her deathbed, Stein put up a rambling diatribe insulting Cathy's work and beliefs and referring to her daughter Maia as a skank.

Thankfully Cathy's friends did not let it pass. Thanks to the efforts of Fox News's Michael Park, Stein's filthy deeds have been detailed on the Fox site, and the story has been linked by The Drudge Report.

The link is pretty far down the Drudge page, so it can't hurt to mention it here in case you missed it.

Stein exhibits no remorse. He seems proud of what he did. People like that are a good argument for public caning.

The most remarkable thing about Stein is that he's a teacher. I guess I should not be surprised, after the lineup of sadists and pocket dictators I suffered with as a child. His problems with Cathy stem from some sort of material he posted in comments on Maia's blog.

One hopes that the publicity he's enjoying will help assure that he never enters a classroom again, unless maybe they need someone to mop up some puke.
