Eat it, Hippies - Installment 527

Hurricane Season Still a Failure

I haven't gloated about this weak hurricane season in a while, so I guess it's time. I just want to remind the global warming nuts that 2007 has been even weaker than 2006, that 2006 was a big nothing, and that YOUR WAVE OF MONSTER HURRICANES NEVER CAME. Hee hee. It never came, and it's not going to come. So go cry in your bulgur wheat, jerkweeds.

Yeah, it's September 20. And as anyone who can read a graph knows, the probability of new storms is dropping drastically. It has dropped by a third over the last ten days, and that figure will increase to a half by October 1. So once again, I say EAT IT. We may get a storm. We may even get a couple of hurricanes. But we're not getting the catastrophe you prayed to Gaia for.

Cheer up. Maybe we'll have some storms next year and a bunch of people will die. That would be great, huh? But two slow years in a row pretty much kill your long-range theory.
