For Those Times When You Don't Have Wood

How do You Cope?

Here's another bone for the tool nerds.

What's a good power tool for cutting metal with some degree of accuracy? It looks like chop saws are sloppy, dry cut saws are neat but expensive, and band saws are the best, but they take up half the garage and cost like $600. Is there some kind of cheat that would allow me to cut metal well for like 89 cents?

Currently the tool I hate the most is the hack saw.
