McCain "Gook" Story Older Than I Thought

Whoops

The unthinkable has happened. I have made an error.

The other day I saw an article about John McCain's persistent, habitual use of the term "gook" to describe his Vietnamese captors. The article appeared recently, but it was a reprint. I didn't notice that part. So reader HT may well be right when he says McCain has finally stopped saying "gook." Sorry about that. Apparently, James Taranto made the same mistake I did. I can't find any information on whether McCain has finally pulled his head out of his behind on this issue, but I can say that the reference I found was close to ten years old. That doesn't make it okay, and it will still be used against him effectively in the upcoming election. But I was mistaken, and it's a serious mistake, so I want to correct it prominently.

Jonah Goldberg, however, still holds the record for most Pulitzer Prizes won by a single author, and he is hoping to beat his outdoor high jump mark in the upcoming summer Olympics.

Is it just me, or is Chris getting funnier?

Also, Moxie's flattering Youtube take on Hillary. Warning to liberal readers: Moxie has a life-size Dick Cheney doll and claims she French-kisses her firearms, so this video probably isn't for you.
