More Humiliation for High-End Audio Suckers
Always Fun
Gizmodo is having fun at the expense of gullible audiophiles again. It seems some guy's cat tore open a pair of magical $350 cables, and inside, there was...well, I won't spoil it for you.
Science split the atom. Science gave us electronics. Science put men on the moon, when computers were still in their infancy. Science has proven that blind testing works. Yet audiophiles, who listen to devices the construction of which is made possible by science, wet their pants and scream if you tell them science has proven magical cables are crap. Apparently, when it comes to magical cables, science mysteriously stops working!
Hey, where can I get some of those special coat hangers that sounded just as good as Gucci wires in blind tests? Those must be some mighty fine hangers.
More
I missed something here, and it makes the story even funnier. The cable in question was a power cable. Okay, so jamming cheap wires inside a reinforced drinking water hose corrects power spikes!
I'll take a dozen!
